Army National Guard Components Achievement Miniature Medal

Note: Miniature medals are replicas of regular full size medals, made to a scale of one-half the size of the original. Miniature decorations and service medals are authorized for wear on the mess and evening mess uniforms. United States armed forces personnel and retired veterans occasionally wear miniature versions of their awards on formal occasions, such as dine-outs and other ceremonial occasions. Mounting: Unlike full size medals that come with mounting pins on each medal, miniature medals must be attached to a miniature medal mount. Miniature medal mounts are manufactured specifically for the number of awards being mounted. For example, if you purchased five miniature medals, you would need to purchase a “Miniature Medal Mount - 5 Medal” to correctly wear them. See below for the appropriate mount.
