This is the California National Guard Commanding General's Meritorious Unit Citation with AF/Navy frame (AGMUC). It is awarded to a unit for exceptionally meritorious performance during peacetime since September 11, 2001 in difficult and challenging missions under extraordinary circumstances. The unit must have shown such outstanding dedication or mission accomplishment and superior performance of exceptionally difficult or nontraditional tasks to clearly set it apart from and above other units with similar missions. This award can only be earned one time.
