Our U.S. Marine Corps Digital Desert TRU (Tactical Response Uniform) Combat Shirt is body-constructed from no melt, no drip CORDURA® Brand Baselayer - a 60/40 cotton nylon blend that not only reduces the severity of burn injuries and helps protect against flash fires, but also breathes, wicks away moisture, and dries quickly. The TRU Combat Shirt is manufactured and fitted to integrate precisely with body armor and offers ultimate comfort and tactical functionality to Marines geared-up and on mission whether in training environments or on deployment operations. The TRU Combat Shirt repositions the front Coat / Blouse pockets to the sleeves, providing seamless integration with body armor as well as reducing heat in extreme heat conditions. The elimination of bulky uniform fabric from the chest and back areas of the shirt also eliminate the extra heat and fabric bunching effects when combined with individual body armor. Other features include: a mock turtle neck, zippered sleeve storage pockets, anti-abrasion padded elbow patches, gusseted sleeves, hook-and-loop cuff closures, loop-on sleeve pockets for attaching name, rank, and flag patches, a glint tap holder for IR (infrared) tape, and also has no shoulder seams to minimize rubbing and chafing.
