United States Army 112th Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (Bello Ac Pace Paratus)
Criteria: This item is the unit crest, or distinctive unit insignia, of the 112th Engineer Battalion. The unit's motto, "Bello Ac Pace Paratus," is written on the bottom and translates as "Prepared For War And Peace." The colors and main design were taken from the Coat of Arms of General Moses Cleveland an early officer in the Corps of Engineers. The gold lion represents the unit's service in Belgium during World War I.
