Criteria: The United States Army Regimental System was established in 1981 to replace the Combat Arms Regimental System. The goal was to provide each soldier with continuous identification with a single regiment, as well as to support that concept with a personnel system that would increase a soldier's probability of serving recurring assignments with their regiment. The Regimental Corps Crest signifies each service member's unique regiment and is worn over the right breast pocket on the Class A uniform
