United States Coast Guard Boat Force Operations Insignia

Criteria: The Boat Force Operations Insignia is a qualification badge awarded in two grades and is intended to identify those United States Coast Guard personnel currently working in the Boat Force operations field. Five years of cumulative service at a Boat Force field unit is required as part of the criteria for earning the Basic insignia. The Advanced Boat Force Operations Insignia is awarded to United States Coast Guard members who meet the service, qualification and endorsement criteria beyond the Basic requirements, and are thus authorized to wear the Advanced insignia.
