Coast Guard Reserve Good Conduct Medal
The Coast Guard Reserve Good Conduct Medal (CGRGC) is a Good Conduct medal that is bestowed upon any enlisted Coast Guard Reservist who has three consecutive years of honorable service. This service must be free of disciplinary actions, such as non-judicial punishments or courts martial offenses. If such an offense occurs, the three year periods begins again following the date of the offense.
First issued in 1963, the Coast Guard Reserve Good Conduct award is only awarded to enlisted reservists and Warrant and Commissioned Officers are not eligible. Subsequent awards are displayed with bronze star devices.
