This is the Colorado National Guard Adjutant General's Outstanding Unit Award (with gold frame). This unit award is for outstanding meritorious performance for any unit assigned to the Colorado National Guard after June 1, 1995. An outstanding devotion and superior performance of an exceptionally difficult task as to set them apart and above other similar units. Circumstances must be deemed to be extraordinary when they do not represent the normal day to day circumstances. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze and silver service stars.
