Criteria: This item is the full-color, class A patch for the Louisiana National Guard. The patch is an octagon approximately 2 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide. The main design consists of a pelican and its young in a nest. The pelican is a traditional symbol of the state of Louisiana and the design is adapted from the state seal. Also called shoulder sleeve insignia, this item is designed for wear on the Army Service Green Uniform and is sold individually.
