Combat Medical Badge Engravable Coin
The Combat Action Medical Badge, created in 1945 and awarded retroactively to December 6, 1941, is awarded to any member of the United States Army Medical Department, pay grade Colonel or below, who is assigned or attached to a medical unit (company or smaller size) providing medical support to an infantry or special forces unit during any period in which the unit was engaged in active ground combat.
Minted in nickel with an antique finish, this 1 3/4" thick coin replicates the Combat Action Medical Badge in look and feel. Engrave up to three lines on the reverse side.
